Strange Wilds are a power trio from Washington. "Subjective concepts" summons the infernal rage of the best parts of the North-Western hardcore scene, the heavenly scuzz of Nirvana as in "Bleach", and the purgatory of Touch & Go post rock that meets the "De-Evolution Machine" by Devo. The eleven songs are characterized by the hybrid of the past and future of Seattle, juxtaposed scenes that are kept together by snotty threats and intelligent grudge.
