"Live and immortal" Blu-ray de Vanden Plas

Recorded on December 30, 2016 in their hometown of Kaiserslautern, Germany, Vanden Plas delivered an epic performance to an enthusiastic audience. The majority of the setlist is based on their two 'Chronicles of the immortals' albums (2013 and 2014) and also includes tracks that have never been played live before, such as the atmospheric 'Scarlet flower fields' and the captivating 11-minute monster, 'The final murder'. Additionally, fans can expect all-time favorites from the band's repertoire like 'Holes in the sky', 'Iodic rain', 'Postcard to god', and 'Christ 0'.

Recorded, mixed and mastered by longtime Vanden Plas sound engineer Markus Teske at Bazement Studios, 'Live and immortal' delivers a clear, powerful sound that brings the live feeling directly into the eager ears through the speakers. The show was filmed by Oliver Barth, who has previously worked with the band on the music videos for 'Stone Roses Edge' and 'When The World Is Falling Down'. Editing was done by Björn Widmann and Andreas Lill.
