Su 11º trabajo fue grabado en directo en el estudio Attica en Donega, Irlanda y termiando por el productor Tony Doogan (Mogwai, Belle & Sebastian, Super Furry Animals) en el Castle Of Doom Studios de Glasgow. Masterizado por Frank Arkwright en los Abbey Road Studios (Londres) y con arreglos de Kevin Burleigh. ‘The Optimist’ la historia que comenzó en 2001 con ‘A Fine Day to Exit’. La cubierta es de Travis Smith.
