‘The Sin and the Sentence’, Trivium’s forthcoming release, shows front man Matt Heafy’s troupe in unbelievable form (their first outing with new drummer Alex Bent of Battlecross/Decrepit Birth). Producer Josh Wilbur (Lamb of God, Gojira) recorded the album in southern California’s Hybrid Studios. Having already introduced us to a title track showcasing all of their strengths, the band gave us a first-class taster of what’s to come on October’s LP release.
