Los maestros fineses del "Melancholic Metal", Amorphis, habían anunciado su siguiente larga duración "Under the red cloud". Con "Under the red coud", Tomi Joutsen y su gente superan las expectativas. Este trabajo cuenta con el potente sonido creado por el productor Jens Bogren (Arch Enemy/Kreator) en Helsinki y no pasará mucho para ser legendario. La gran cubierta fue creada por Valnoir Mortasonge, que ya trabajó para Laibach, Paradise Lost, Watain y Behemoth.
