The shooting star Yungblud aka Domenic Harrison is currently shaking up the music scene, not only in his home country of Great Britain. Now, with 21st Century Liability, the debut album of the 19-year-old electro-punker with urban flavor is coming. With his previous tracks, King Charles, I Love You, Will You Marry Me, Tin Pan Boy, and Polygraph Eyes, the Brit has already caused a sensation.
21st Century Liability offers a guitar-heavy, but rhythmically influenced sound that is equally shaped by rock and roll and hip-hop - two genres that Harrison perceives as having a shared soul due to their raw passion and rebellious spirit. Harrison compares his debut album to a Trojan horse. On the outside, it sounds fun and you can dance along, but if you really listen to the lyrics, something darker and deeper is happening.
