The first album by Gates of Ishtar, ‘A Bloodred Path’, was originally published in 1996 and now appears in re-release form on coloured vinyl (clear) together with a CD. With a new cover by Juanjo Castellano (Vomitory, Obscure Infinity, Portrait), special vinyl mastering by Patrick W. Engel (Dissection, Asphyx, Tiamat) and with exclusive liner notes by Christ Dick (Decibel Magazine USA), we’ve got a true fan piece here. Those who love melodic death metal along the lines of Ablaze My Sorrow, Nightrage, At The Gates or The Duskfall (the latter was founded by members Sandorf and Carlsson) are in the right place.
