NECK CEMETERY defies all trends: the five-piece from North Rhine-Westphalia plays their Heavy Metal the way they love it - sometimes slow, sometimes fast, sometimes serious, and sometimes with a twinkle in their eye, but always with a healthy dose of heart and soul.

After the debut album 'Born in a Coffin,' released in 2020 via Reaper Entertainment Europe and distributed worldwide by Universal Music, received immense acclaim from fans and the press, the band performed at several renowned festivals in the summer of 2022, including the Rock Hard Festival (their performance was recorded by WDR Rockpalast and also streamed live on the internet) and the Wacken Open Air. Afterwards, they barricaded themselves in the rehearsal room to work on new material.

This material forms the basis for their second full-length album 'Bring us the Head,' which was recorded in spring 2023 at the 'Gernhart' studios in Troisdorf in collaboration with producer Martin Buchwalter, who is known in the hard and heavy scene for his work with Tankard, Destruction, Tom Angelripper, Paul Di'Anno, and Suidakra.

'Bring us the Head' is our declaration of love for the movies of the 80s and 90s that we grew up with,' says singer Jens. 'During the pandemic, we rediscovered many of these films. Many can relate to this - we were at home, had unusually free time, and thanks to streaming services, we rarely got bored. At some point, we jokingly talked about how cool it would be to make a record about our old favorite movies... and so we did.' Fans of films like 'Terminator,' 'Conan,' 'Army of Darkness,' or 'Escape from New York' will therefore be delighted with the album, whose detailed cover artwork is once again the work of Besil Wrathbone. The band also recorded a cover version of the Ramones classic 'Pet Sematary' for 'Bring us the Head.' Jens explains: 'Since we've had the song in our live set for years and it fits perfectly with the concept of the album, the idea was obvious.'
