Thrice is an American rock band from Irvine, California. It was founded in 1998 by singer and guitarist Dustin Kensrue and lead guitarist Teppei Teranishi while they were still in high school. Initially more inclined towards post-hardcore, Thrice expanded their musical spectrum over time to include alternative rock, emo, melodic hardcore, and electronic sounds. To date, they have released ten albums, five of which have reached the top 20 in the USA. In 2021, their eleventh album, 'Horizons/East,' is on the horizon.
