Since Ryker's last release in 2019, a lot has happened. The world we knew has changed massively, and certainly not for the better. Does this have an impact on one of the constants within the European hardcore scene? Yes, it does! Ryker's comment on the last few years with a brutally dark barrage of hatred, which only hints at the amount of frustration and anger that must have accumulated here. The return of original frontman Kid.D., who lets his aggression run freely in his lyrics, fits the new songs like a glove. Musically, Ryker's have approached classic albums like 'First blood' and 'Brother against brother,' but in a contemporary way.
