This camel is definitely not a lonely crier in the desert. Especially since LONELY CAMEL may sound like desert, but are actually from Norway. And obviously they're able to produce fine and classic hard rock with a dry and hearty sound between fjords and infinite forests. As on their previous records, the Norwegians manage to combine hard rock from the seventies, stoner rock, blues, psychedelic and a bit of doom on their fourth LP "Shit City". "We just wanted to record this CD as simple and cheap as possible", singer and guitarist Thomas Brenna joked a short time ago. But the real plan was to record the rhythm section live to have more time for the details afterwards. The results are nine tracks, ranging from the rough, punky title track with a punk attitude, to extensive jams and compact four minute songs that still get stuck in your head. And by that it's perfectly clear: LONELY KAMEL definitely belong to the elite of the European beard and flares rocker scene.

"Shit City" is arriving as limited edition on black vinyl.
