The ninth album by nu metal pioneers P.O.D. (Payable On Death) with Sonny Sandoval is in the making. After the acoustic album "SoCal Sessions" by the Californians, the new studio album is here, which was absolutely necessary after 2012 "Murdered Love". "The Awakening" combines the strengths of the foursome and will be another success for the band. The energizing album, which was produced by long term employee and friend Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, Kelly Clarkson) contains 10 tracks and guest features by Maria Brink from In This Moment and Lou Keller from Sick Of It All. Known for putting some positive messages to their music, P.O.D. is looking forward to sharing "The Awakening" with their global fanbase. The album describes a journey based on good and bad experiences of a central character, who explores the consequences of his actions.
