With their unique mixture of heaviness, darkness and catchy melodies they have defined an entire genre - with their Zombie EP they started nothing less than a generation change in metal. The Devil Wears Prada are among the spearheads of a completely new wave of metal bands, whose characteristic sound perfectly closes the gap between rock star Mayhem and the Vans Warped Tour! Their "Zombie EP" is a real brutal and classic record. The band described this EP as a "fun" release with "brutal" songs in the vein of what will eventually become the band's forthcoming studio album. The band's musical style changed after the success of the Zombie EP, this led to, what singer Mike Hranica described as; fusing the melodic elements of their previous studio albums with the ferocity of Zombie.
