‘Brave New World’ fue compuesto antes del Ed Hunter Tour en Portugal en 1999 y grabado tras el tour en otoño del 1999 en los Guillaume Tell Studios en Paris. Kevin Shirley hizo de productor, con la ayuda de Steve Harris como co-productor.
El material de ‘Brave New World’ es más agresivo como se nota en ‘Dream Of Mirrors’ o ‘The Nomad’.
